  Lake Kawaguchi

Mt. Fuji is the most famous and highest mountain in Japan at 3376 meters. Lake Kawaguchi is the  tourist center. Many hotels and hot spring inn around Lake Kawaguchi. Tourist information is at railway station. It had better to visit Mt. Fuji by car because of huge area. Oishi Park is the photo spot. Rental bike around this lake is popular activity for overnight tourists.

  5th deck

The Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station is 2,305 meter view spot in north side of Mt. Fuji. In summer, many people climb up and watch the sunrise on the top from this point. In winter, roads is closed because of snow. In spring, nice fresh green. In autumn, great autumn leaves.

  Nenba

Located in Saiko, one of 5 lakes. Japanese folk village " Nenba " is easy way for tourists to feel Japanese old style village life and culture. Many houses are located on a hill side, but the road is smooth and no steps. Big push need for wheelchair users, but possible to go around. Try to put on traditional wears and become a cosplayer.

  Oshino Hakkai

Clear beautiful fresh water ponds between Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka. No entrance fee. Udon noodle is popular to have a lunch. Carps swim in the ponds. Road is flat. Strawberry firm and Ninja village in this area.

  Hot spring inn

Our recommendation is wheelchair accessible Japanese inn " Fuji Lake hotel" in Lake Kawaguchi. There are many wheelchair accessible rooms with a private hot spring inn and family rooms. Feel Japanese hot spring inn and taste nice food.

  Lake Tanuki

west of Mt Fuji. Shizuoka side. Quiet calm lake. Not many tourists. Wheelchair accessible 3km trail goes around Lake Tanuki. View deck from parking is also wheelchair accessible. One hotel beside the lake, but no wheelchair accessible room.

  Gotemba outlet

very popular place for shopping lovers. Located between Lake Kawaguchi and Hakone. We can see Mt. Fuji from Gotemba outlet when the weather is clear. 2 hours by car without traffic from Tokyo. Of course, wheelchair accessible. No problem to visit for wheelchairs.

  Hakushu whiskey brewery

Suntory Hakushu whiskey brewery in deep woods. 2 hours by car from Lake Kawaguchi area. Some guests visit here on the way to Takayama from Mt. Fuji.
