  Nagasaki City    

The city is famous for its hills like Lisbon Portugal. It is not easy to go around on wheelchair. Use a taxi or car. Wheelchair accessible van taxis are available. Dejima island and Glover Garden are wheelchair accessible. But many churches are not wheelchair accessible.

  Atomic Bomb Museum     
Located on a hill top. The museum has a long accessible ramp and two lifts. The nearest tram station is also wheelchair accessible. Both museum and Peace Memorial Hall are both wheelchair accessible. Please pray for peace.

  Peace Memorial Park     
Located on a hill. Long stairs and steep ramps to the park from the tram station. Wheelchair users can move around in the park because there are two lifts. Using car is better. It is hard to visit by walk on wheelchair. 
 
   

  Nagasaki tram   
Some low-floor trams run in Nagasaki city. The number is increasing, but still low.  Almost all the stations are wheelchair accessible, but JR Nagasaki tram station (Nagasaki Eki-mae Station) has only stairs. Go to the next stations which are located near it.

  Huis Ten Bosch     
Theme park recreates a 17th century Dutch town are famous for many beautiful flowers. Basically, the park is wheelchair accessible. But wheelchair users cannot ride or enter some attractions. JR Huis Ten Bosch station is small but has a lift today.

  Sasebo 
Sasebo is a navy town that has US military forces. An amusement park called Saikai Pearl Sea Resort is fully wheelchair accessible. Leisure ship "Pearl Queen " tours 99 islands is fully wheelchair accessible with lift and toilet. Many sea activities sea kayak, yacht sailing, and walking in a deserted islands.

  Unzen     
The first Japanese national park. Volcanos, mountains, and hot springs. There is an accessible trail in the hot spring area called "Unzen Hell". Many onsen hotels are not wheelchair accessible.

One of best 3 shrine in Japan. Located between Fukuoka and Nagasaki. 90 min drive from Nagasaki city, Sasebo port and Fukuoka city. Wheelchair accessible in main area, but many stairs in back mountains.
